The Indexer: The International Journal of Indexing

International cooperation in indexing: a perspective from an AusSI/ANZSI member

The Indexer: The International Journal of Indexing (2019), 37, (4), 357–368.

Abstract

Indexers in Australia and elsewhere benefit from relationships with indexers around the world. These include formal ties through the International Committee of Representatives of Indexing Societies (ICRIS), and informal ties between individuals and groups. It is the history of these informal connections, as we have experienced them in Australia, that I wish to consider in this article.
