Abstract

A presentation of particular interest at the SI annual conference in 2014 was Mary Russell’s discussion of illustrations in indexes, a concept new to many in her audience, though it turns out not to have been quite so new as we thought it was. Joan Dearnley reported on her talk as follows, with some added thoughts from Mary.
