Kaikoura Railway Memorial
Abstract
The memorial stone at Kaikoura Railway Station, South Island, New Zealand reads: ‘In memory of those who lost their lives during the construction of the Wharanui-Parnassus section of the South Island Main Trunk Railway 1930 - 1945’ and at Sir Christopher Wren’s Memorial at St Paul’s Cathedral, London, England: ‘If you seek his memorial, look around you’.
